Hot New Novel From A.D. Ray- THE MAN FROM CYRENE

Got a new e-reader for Christmas? Read the gripping new novel by A.D. Ray THE MAN FROM CYRENE. Just who was the man who carried the cross for Jesus?
Can you imagine what it would have been like to be in his shoes? How would a person’s life be impacted by such an experience? We know little about Simon of Cyrene. We can only speculate how his life was altered. It would have to be. One could not meet Jesus face-to-face like that and not be forever changed. THE MAN FROM CYRENE tells the story of Simon bar Tolomeo and how he and his family and friends were affected by his meeting the man carrying that Cross. Available now on Amazon for Kindle readers and on Barnes and Noble for Nook. For those who don’t have the e-reader devices apps are available free for PC and MAC.

Who Was Mary Magdalene?

Mary Magdalene, or Mary of Magdala, is a woman who shows up in the New Testament only a few times.  There is a commonly held belief that she was either a prostitute or the woman taken in adultery who the leaders of the community brought to Jesus and asked Him to pass judgement on her.  This is where the famous line, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone” comes from.

We actually know little about Mary from the Bible and historical accounts.  I have taken what we know from the Bible and written a novel about her life and how she was impacted by knowing Jesus.

Read all about it in the upcoming novel A WOMAN CALLED MARY, scheduled to be released in the summer for Kindle and Nook.
